Let's go biking! Our favorite way to explore Fairfield and Southeast Iowa is on two wheels. There's no better way to take in the local sights or explore the great outdoors. From weekly group rides to solitary pedals, cyclists of all experience levels can venture out onto "easy" trails or try a more challenging gravel ride. Join the local cycling group for updated weekly rides. (check here) Many of the group rides lead to Fishback & Stephenson Cider House for dinner, drinks, or Sunday morning brunch. So grab your helmet, explore some wilderness, stop for a wine or cider break and get pedaling!
***NOTICE*** Portions of the southwestern part of the Loop Trail are currently closed and will be closed until construction is completed in the effected areas. There are currently closures where the loop trail intersects Highway 1 (Between trail mile marks 15 1/2 and 15 3/4) and where the trail intersects Kale Boulevard (Between mile marks 1 and 1 1/4).

We've mapped out our favorite rides... some are easy and others are not for the faint of heart. But if you love the idea of exploring rural Iowa on a bike or if you're looking for the challenge of a dirt road ride, these trails will get you there!
