Juilliard trained violinist Timothy Chooi is the First Prize Winner of the 2018 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover, Germany. He was also awarded 1st prize at the 2018 Schadt String Competition in Allenton, Pennsylvania.

2018-19 season highlights included performances with the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Canada) with Pinchas Zukerman conducting. His program will include beloved works such as Rachmaninoff’s Vocalize, Fritz Kreisler’s Liebeslied, Aram Khachaturian’s famous Sabre Dance and John Williams’ theme from the movie Schindler’s List.
