Bill Graeser and Michael W. Barnard continue their entertaining series of unique Image & Spoken Word reading events with a special presentation.
Longtime Fairfield resident and MUM staff member, Bill Graeser is known for his thoughtful, and at times whimsical-yet-profound perspective on life. This time around he will read some new poetry and show a selection of his latest photographic explorations culled from his travels around the Midwest and Long Island.
Michael Barnard, an artist/filmmkaker and assistant professor and administrator of the David Lynch MFA in Film program at MUM, will be reading some new poetry along with excerpts from his new, novel length work-in-progress entitled “1967”, a multi-dimensional memoir-based narrative focusing on the that fabled year in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as England. This work features a combination of written memoir expressed in a novelistic fashion augmented with excerpts from the extensive journals and sketchbooks Michael has kept since his teenage years.
Presentation begins at 8:00 pm.
Doors open at 7:30 for free refreshments.
ICON Thursday is free to ICON members.
There is a suggested $2 donation for others.
