Bill Teeple’s Party & Paint Returns Online

Art teacher Bill Teeple is alive and well and launching Party & Paint again. The event has been re-tooled for online participation. The first sessions will be Friday, May 15, 7;30 – 9:30; Saturday May 16th, 7:30 – 9:30; and Sunday, May 17, 1:00 – 3:00. The sessions will take place via Zoom with a limited number of people participating each day.

The idea of Party & Paint is to give people who would never dream of taking an art course a chance to have the fun of making a work of art. Bill Teeple takes the group step by step through the creation of a simple painting. Bill traces the basic composition out on a canvas for the participants making the process easy. What makes Bill’s events unique is that participants copy a painting by a famous artist from the history of art.

Experienced artists are invited to join in, doing their own variations on the night’s theme.

Packets of art supplies for the session will be made available that can be picked up at ICON or shipped by mail. Participants will need to provide their own party beverages and snacks to their
own taste.

The basic fee for Bill’s instruction is $20. Participants will have a choice of supplies provided in their box. Add $3 for just the traced canvas and the image to paint. Add $6 for canvas, image, and paint. Add $9 for canvas, image, paint, brushes, and a palette.
