Event Details

Join Fairfield First Fridays on November 4th, from 6 to 10:00p.m., for a night of art and fun! This event is a “passport” event. Stop in any of the participating galleries, get your “passport” stamped at each location, fill out your information and return to ICON or Cindy’s Artbeat by 9:30pm to be entered to win a piece of art from a local artist. The winner will be drawn at 9:45pm, you do not have to be present to win!
We have six participating galleries! They are, ICON, Americus Diamond, Fairfield CoLab, Crest Jewel, Cindy’s ArtBeat, and Fairfield Art Association (Please look at the times each location closes, so you are able to visit them all to complete your passport).
The works to choose from, by the local artists, will be on display at Cindy’s Art Beat. The participating artists are: Bill Teeple, John Preston, Greg Thatcher, Elaine Duncan, David Kupferman, Terrence Kennedy, Danielle Shier, Care Connet and others.
The participating gallery information is listed below:
Americus Diamond-100 W. Burlington Ave. Open until 8pm. Americus Gallery will be showing Christopher Kufner’s original oil paintings, featuring Italian/French Landscapes, and Figurative works. Also, showing original oil paintings by Kim Kufner, Original watercolor and ink paintings by Genevra Bell, Art Glass Vases by David Lotton, Leaping Koi sculptures by Dale Divoky, Kristin Ford’s Jewelry with Meaning, many of which are one of a kind, and Custom dichroic glass jewelry by Pedro Lujano. Also, beautiful New Crystals for your home available for purchase from our recent buying trip!
Cindy’s ArtBeat- 53 W. Broadway Ave. -Open 6:30-9:45pm. This is the last ArtWalk to see Jenny Sammons’s art before it comes down after November 12. They have over 20 artists participating in the Square One Arts Collective, with lots of paintings, assorted ceramics, earrings and more. The raffled artwork will be on display at Cindy’s. Completed passports can be dropped off at either ICON or Cindy’s and will be combined for the drawing at Cindy’s at 9:45.
Crest Jewel- 48 N. Main St. Open 7-9:30pm. Stop in during the gallery hop to see original paintings by David Kupferman, Terrence Kennedy and others. They will also be featuring a designer jewelry collection just in time for the upcoming holidays!
Fairfield Art Association- (Inside the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center) Open 6:30-8:30pm. Main Gallery – John Preston’s recent Watercolors. Hallway Gallery – Kartika Damon Paintings. Permanent Collection Gallery – includes Mauricio Lasansky’s “Lady in Blue”, “Self Portrait” & “Boy with Burro”. Sales Gallery – FAA’s members art
Fairfield CoLab- 101 N. Court St. ( Note new location! The old Iowa State Bank on the square) Fairfield CoLab is opening its new space to showcase two artists! Photography by Janet L. Swan and art by Shoan Dieter. Stop in, see the new location, enjoy some beautiful art, and get your passport stamped! Open 6- 9:45pm.
ICON-58 N. Main St. Open 6:30-10pm In the main gallery: ICON Biennial Art Auction Fundraiser. All proceeds go to ICON operating expenses. Over 120 works of art. original oils, acrylics, pastels, photographs, prints and reproductions. In the Hudson Collection Gallery: “Tantra: Ancient and Modern” David T. Hanson and Shiva Linga Paintings from the Hudson Collection.

Noble House- 115 N. Main St. Come enjoy the artist feature! Singer-songwriter James Leo has traveled around the country and lived in every corner of America. He’s been writing songs since he was 17 years old. In 2016 he recorded a solo album with the aid of the popular indie group Miniature Tigers in L.A. and toured shortly thereafter. He has written many songs since then and is now looking to record and release his next album in 2023
