Fairfield First Friday Art Walk Returns to Central Park
Fairfield First Friday Art Walk will return to live, in-person events in Central Park on June 4th from 6 to 10 pm! Things will be spread out a little more than usual and there will be music in two locations. We want to make sure you feel comfortable attending events. If you are okay with a larger crowd, there will be music in Central Park, if you would like a more spread-out crowd and would feel more comfortable away from close contact, then feel free to take in the music in front of FACC.
Roman Cadillacs will be performing live in the gazebo in Central Park. Chris Heaton and Igor will be in front of the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center!
It is still recommended by the CDC that people wear masks in large groups if not fully vaccinated. If you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone who is not feeling well, please stay home, rest, and take care of yourself. We are excited to be able to resume events and would like to make sure we do everything we can to keep everyone in our community healthy! Masks are recommended for this event, but not required. Please use your best judgment. We will have portable hand washing stations available in Central Park, and there will be hand sanitizer in various locations.
Thank you to our performers for being willing to share the spotlight and embracing the changes and guidelines, thank you to the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center for allowing us to use the space, thank you to The Greater Jefferson County Foundation for the grant funding to purchase the portable handwashing stations, and thank you to Jefferson County Public Health for guidance and information! We would also like to thank the community for the patience and support during the past year of virtual events, we appreciate you and have missed your faces!
