Event Details

Craig Deininger will be doing a poetry reading and book signing at Revelations Cafe on Saturday, May 25 at 2:00 PM.  Craig earned an MFA in Poetry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MA and PhD in Mythological and Jungian Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He has lived and worked in Alaska, Hawaii, France, England, British Columbia, California, Colorado, Appalachian North Carolina, Utah, rural New England, and throughout the Midwest. He writes for the Joseph Campbell Foundation and teaches in the Joseph Campbell Writers room at Studio School in Los Angeles. He has also taught writing, mythology and Jungian psychology at UMass Amherst, Lees-McRae College, and Naropa University, respectively. His poetry has appeared in The Iowa Review and his first volume of poems, Leaves from the World Tree (co-authored with mythologist Dennis Patrick Slattery) was recently published by Mandorla Books.
