The workshop, taught by ISU Extension and Outreach Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Sara Sprouse, is intended for those wanting to learn how to identify common culinary herbs, their health benefits, and how to use the herbs to enhance flavors of fruits, vegetables, and much more. “This is a fun, hands-on workshop that includes easy cooking tips and recipes using fresh herbs that can be grown at home year-round,” says Sprouse.
