Join Kelly McKay with Building Better Birders for a great morning of birding. There will be plenty of spring migrants to spy. Don’t forget your binoculars! Participants should meet at the Cedar View Trail Parking lot at 2164 South 32nd.

This workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), with assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation) and Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Education Center).

Cedar View Trail, 4.5 miles in length, connects the two communities of Fairfield and Libertyville. The first segment of Cedar View Trail follows the old railroad right-of-way for approximately one mile to the Cedar View Trail Bridge. The trail then continues through Cedar Creek Timber to 223rd Street. From there the trail follows 223rd to Hackberry Way to Hemlock Avenue north of Libertyville. The east shoulder of Hemlock Avenue has been designated for trail use.
