Summer Concert Series Featuring Bambu, the “Legendary Free Psych World Beat Melodic Soul Collective”

Back after last year’s success, the 2022 FREE Summer Outdoor Concert Series returns in June! Catch awesome local and Midwest-based bands every other Thursday night at 7 pm all summer long. Gather your lawn chairs and all the people you like and come out to 200 N. Main Street to enjoy great music in great company!

Bambú is a collective of musicians creating genuine soul-driven melodies combined with world-class dance rhythms which include Reggae, South American and African styles with a regular dose of psychedelic jam to make this unique band a one-way ticket to nirvana. They will power you up and make you dance like you are the entire universe at once.

The Bambú band features New York City native Barbara Morillo on lead vocals, Jason Shoucair from Jamaica on vocals, Steven Derby Benson from Argentina on vocals and Latin percussion, Robert Almaraz from Venezuela on drums and percussion, Jon Estrin on guitar, George Foster on bass and Greg Wadsworth on keyboards.
